Plastic surgery – is it really necessary?

    Plastic surgery is surgery that correct and restoration of body tissue. There are four types of plastic surgery which is reconstructive surgery, hand surgery, microsurgery and the treatment of burn but the most famous is the cosmetic surgery that procedures alter a part of the body that the person is not satisfied with. Nowadays, when we heard of plastic surgery, we will always though of cosmetic surgery that used to make people look better and it is famous among celebrities. But is it really necessary to do plastic surgery?

    For me, it should. We can’t take that all plastic surgery was all about cosmetic surgery. How about we looked at other perspective for example a child, who had skin burn. How will the child felt when knowing that his skin is horrible, then he will be mock by other children. Of course this will effect the child mental and pschology. On other words, the child will suffer for attire life. Then, plastic surgery can give the child a change to life the live once more.

    By plastic surgery, the child could have treatment of burn that replaced the old and disfunction tissue with a new one of tissue. Eventhough it was a fake skin, but it have give a new live for the child to be socialise with other children. Futhermore, what about the people that had an traumatic accident that change people part of body in horrible ways. They surely want to correct functional impairements cause of traumatic accident. With reconstructive surgery, surgery can repaired the part of body that impairements.

    Moreover, plastic surgery can replaced the missing tissue that person lost during the surgery using the microsurgery. With microsurgery, we can reconstruct of missing tissue by transfering a piece of tissue to the reconstruction site and reconnecting blood vessels. On top of that, microsurgery also can be used to reconnected back the part of body like hand that was cut which always happen in industry accident. Lot of body part missing reported from industrial. With microsurgery, we can help the industry employee.

    Thus, plastic surgery is necessary in our life. Plastic surgery can give a light of hope to the unfortunate people that have a serious damage to the part of body by replacing the tissue using plastic surgery. In future, research about plastic surgery must be advance as it was importance in our live. J
